About Carly
At 18 years old, Carly Rhoades has voice, training, and style that will include many musical genres. Her clarity and vocal range allows her to move from opera to rock to country with ease.
Carly has just released her latest single called "Broken Glass", which is a pop ballad about trust. Prior to that, she released a Christmas song in 2019 called "Just For A Day" and a socially-aware song called "Blind", which talks about being inclusive and not judging people for their race, color, religion and other shallow reasons. Early in 2019, she released "In My Dreams", which she co-wrote. All songs can be downloaded and streamed in the usual digital outlets such as Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, etc.
On August 3, 2019, Carly performed at the prestigious Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. She sang a powerful rendition of Never Enough, a song from the movie The Greatest Showman, backed by the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra (FASO) who auditioned Carly early in 2019.
Carly is an in-demand performer in regional events. This year alone, 2019, she was asked to sing at the Dickens Fair, Yolo County Fair, the Elk Grove Multicultural Festival, Run For Hunger and other public events. All her past and future performances are listed in the Shows section below.
Carly is also a constant winner in singing contests. She won the Grand Prize in 2017 and again 2018 in the Elk Grove Western Festival Idol for her rendition of Fallin’ and Listen. She also took First Place in the 2017 Yolo County Idol contest. This year in 2019 Carly Rhoades won Elk Grove Teen Idols.
Carly has been singing professionally since she was age thirteen. She plays guitar and piano and is continuing to hone her craft.
